A Firelent website can sell up to five products, with a checkout that's built in and card payments through Stripe. That's the right size for a bakery taking cake orders, a coach selling sessions, or a maker with a small collection — and you can set it all up in an afternoon.

This guide takes you from “I want to sell this” to your first order, including what to do once it's paid.

Before you start

  • A Firelent website for your shop to live on.
  • Your products: a name, a short description and a price for each, plus a link to a photo if you have one.
  • Your bank details for payouts, and the basic details of your business — Stripe asks for both.

Decide what you'll sell

Your shop holds up to five products at a time, priced in euros, and each purchase is for one product. So start with what sells best, or what people already ask you for — not your whole range.

Orders are built around handing things over: they move from Paid to Confirmed, Ready and Picked up. If you need shipping, product options like sizes, or a large catalogue, a dedicated shop system is the better fit — and you can still link to it from your Firelent site.

Open your shop

In your project, switch to the Project tab, choose Shop and click Open shop.

Firelent adds a shop section to your homepage and creates the pages a shop needs: a checkout, an order confirmation and a page for failed payments, all designed to match your site. It's built like any other change in the chat and uses the usual 2 credits.

Add your products

Once the shop is open, the section turns into Products. Click First product and fill in:

FieldWhat to put in
NameRequired, up to 120 characters. Say what it is: “Sourdough loaf, 1 kg”, not “Classic”
DescriptionOptional, up to 4,000 characters. Answer the questions people would ask you in person
Price (€)Required. A comma or a dot both work
Image URLOptional. A link to a product photo

Click Create, and the product appears in the shop section of your preview right away. Hover a product card to edit or remove it later. The header keeps count — “3 of 5 products” — so you always know how much room is left.

Connect Stripe

Stripe is the payment provider that takes the cards and pays the money out to your bank. In the Enable orders banner, click Start →. Stripe's own sign-up form opens, asking for your business and payout details. It takes around three minutes.

When Stripe has what it needs, the banner disappears and your products switch from Enable sales to Active. Until then, visitors can see your products but can't buy them.

Firelent keeps 1% of each sale. Stripe's processing fees apply on top, as set out in your Stripe account.

Publish and walk through it

New products, prices and a newly connected Stripe account show up in your preview straight away — and on your live site once you publish again. So click Publish changes.

Then open your live site and go through it the way a customer would: find the shop, pick a product and go to the checkout. Check the name, the price and the description one last time. At the checkout, customers enter their email address — their name is optional — and pay through Stripe's secure payment form, landing on your confirmation page afterwards.

Handle your first order

As soon as your shop is open, an Orders section appears under Project, newest orders first. Click Refresh to check for new ones, and click an order to see the customer's details, the order number and the Stripe payment ID.

Every order starts as Paid. Move it along as you get it ready:

  1. Confirm it, so you know you've seen it.
  2. Mark as ready once it's prepared.
  3. Mark as picked up when it's handed over — the order is then Completed.

If something goes wrong, use Refund payment: the customer gets the full amount back and the order is marked Refunded. Note that Cancel order only marks the order as cancelled — it doesn't send any money back.

Want to know the moment an order comes in? Open your profile menu in the top right of Firelent, click Connect Telegram and tap Start in the chat that opens. From then on, every new order arrives as a message on your phone.
