Which cookies we use and how you control them.

1. Our approach: as little as possible

Firelent works without tracking you around the web. We use a small set of first-party cookies and browser storage, almost all of it strictly necessary — the kind that needs no consent under § 25 (2) TDDDG and Art. 5(3) ePrivacy because the service you asked for cannot function without it. There is currently no advertising or third-party analytics storage to manage.

2. What we currently store

Strictly necessary

  • Sign-in session — keeps you logged in to your account. First-party, expires with your session or when you sign out.
  • Security tokens — protect forms and API calls against forgery and abuse. First-party, short-lived.
  • Consent record — remembers the choices you make on this page, so we do not ask again. First-party, up to 12 months.

Functional (preferences)

  • Interface preferences — remembered locally in your browser: language, layout choices, dismissed hints, drafts you have not sent yet. These stay on your device and are not used to identify you across sites.

What we do not set

  • No advertising cookies, pixels or SDKs.
  • No third-party analytics cookies.
  • No cookies at all in the first-party analytics of sites published with Firelent — that measurement is cookieless by design (see section 8 of the privacy policy).

3. Your controls

Because everything above is either strictly necessary or a local preference, there is nothing that requires a consent banner today. If we ever add storage that does — analytics or marketing categories — a preferences panel will appear on this page and in a consent prompt before anything is set, and you will be able to change your choice here at any time.

Your browser gives you additional control: you can inspect, block or delete cookies and site data in its settings. Blocking the strictly necessary entries will sign you out or break parts of the studio — that is the nature of necessary storage, not a punishment.

4. Questions

About any entry on this page: privacy@firelent.com. We keep this inventory current whenever the product’s storage changes.
